Welsh Brass Trio
Now in its 25th year of entertaining, informative and humorous children's concerts the WELSH BRASS TRIO invites you to treat your pupils to this valuable learning experience.
Described by many headteachers as the best input from any outside group, these concerts are guaranteed to arouse and awaken school children's interest in music, performing, history, and technology.
The music concerts trace the history and development of brass instruments from their origins to the present day. Starting with natural objects such as the conch shell and animal horns the children are expertly guided from the wooden musical instruments of the Tudors and Stuarts, through post horns, hunting horns, right up to the development of the modern day orchestral brass section.

A wide variety of music is performed during each school concert, ranging from the twelfth century to the present day, which includes film and television themes.
The Welsh Brass Trio has delighted audiences wherever it has performed. Children from three years old to eighteen years old have experienced these educational music concerts in their thousands.

Many school children currently receive instrumental tuition from the trio members in their local primary schools and have attended brass courses run by the trio. For these reasons, the trio feel that they have a wealth of knowledge and experience to pass on to school children of all ages.
